ASSAR – Legal Internship Position:ASSAR welcomes law students to apply for legal internship.



  • Commitments can be Full Time- Or Part-Time.
  • Six days a week – Monday to Saturday
  • The incumbent must posses his / her own Laptop.
  • The Legal intern would report directly to the Country Director – ASSAR

Key Responsibilities –



The candidate will be working with National Program Director and other employees of Advance Services for Social and Administrative Reforms (ASSAR) to

  • Define, Create and Edit legal documents and contracts,

 

  • Help to move the business forward, review and prepare correspondence, prepare and modify documents, case folders, client intake and filing.
  • Opportunities for Legal research and writing are available for interested candidates.

 

  • Additional administrative responsibilities will include assisting National Program Director, Proof reading project contracts, contact with clients and general office management.

Desired Experience and Qualifications: The legal internship is open to law students.



  • Excellent research, writing, analytical and communication skills;
  • Well-organized, self-directed, and able to complete multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication,
  • Should have good interpersonal skills,
  • Should be computer proficient including MS Office,
  • Experience in corporate law would be an added advantage.
